CONSTRUCTION WORKER/SHIPBUILDING SHEET METAL WORKER

Bayards is leading in the design and construction of large, complex aluminium structures in markets that are very challenging. Aluminium is increasingly being discovered and applied as a lighter and more environmentally friendly alternative to steel. For our Nieuw-Lekkerland branch, we are looking for experienced construction workers/shipbuilding sheet metal workers.

HOW DO I BECOME A CONSTRUCTION WORKER/SHIPBUILDING SHEET METAL WORKER AT BAYARDS?

As a sheet metal worker in shipbuilding, you will be working on the aluminium superstructure of mega yachts. You will ensure efficient construction and a top-quality superstructure with your colleagues. In addition, you will assemble various smaller constructions, such as staircases and other parts for the yacht building industry. You can also be deployed to assemble on- and offshore structures such as helicopter decks or other large aluminium constructions. THIS IS WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO

• Working with aluminium.
• Pre-treating materials.
• Assembling large superstructures for yachts.
• You have a keen eye for improvement and can raise the alarm when you have a good idea.

HERE YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF

• Minimum of 3 years experience in yacht or shipbuilding.
• MBO work and thinking level
• You show involvement, you are a collegial team player and you have a quality and result-oriented attitude.
• Accurate and independent working from a drawing.
• Experience with aluminium.
