What will you do?

As Team Leader Work Preparation, you are responsible for leading the work preparation team. You bring seniority and expertise to the team and ensure a daily overview with a strong link to production priorities. You coordinate and monitor the work of the team and ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently. You are responsible for the realisation of production orders by efficiently dividing the work, indicating the processing sequence, and purchasing/subcontracting and ensuring the timely availability of information and required materials, parts and services. You will also coordinate with other departments, such as Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Logistics and Warehouse, to ensure smooth cooperation. In this position, you will report to the Manager Engineering yacht building.

What do we ask? 

• At least a completed MBO+/HBO education in a technical direction, preferably shipbuilding.
• Experience with ERP system is a must
• At least 10 years' experience as a work planner in the ship or yacht building industry.
• Management experience or demonstrable leadership potential.
• Knowledge of work preparation processes, planning and logistics in shipbuilding.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Results-oriented attitude, problem-solving ability and stress resistance.
