What will you do?

As a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabrication Employee at Bayards Aluminium Solutions, you will work on a wide range of aluminium structures – from large offshore and bridge components to precision work for defence or transport projects. Using your technical insight, you transform engineering drawings into high end products that meet the highest quality standards. Your main responsibilities include: 

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
• Preparing constructions by cutting, drilling, bending, and fitting aluminium parts.
• Assembling and building aluminium structures according to drawings.
• Performing tack welds and verifying dimensional accuracy.
• Setting up tools, jigs, and workbenches.
• Collaborating with colleagues from the welding, assembly, and finishing departments to achieve the best results together.
• Working closely with the Foreman and Production Team Leader – where precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork are key.
  

Who are you?

• A technical vocational qualification (MBO or equivalent) in metalwork, fabrication, or mechanical engineering.
• Several years of experience in sheet metal or fabrication work; aluminium experience is a plus.
• You work neatly, accurately, and pay strong attention to detail.
• You are independent, flexible, and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You speak and understand Dutch and/or English.
• You are available full time.
