What will you do?

As IT Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing IT policy within Bayards. You will translate our business strategy into a clear IT vision and ensure a stable, secure, and future-oriented IT infrastructure. You will lead the IT team and collaborate closely with colleagues across all departments and locations. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing strategic IT policy.
• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of IT professionals.
• Managing and coordinating IT projects from planning to evaluation.
• Carefully monitoring project progress, risks, and budgets.
• Managing IT budgets and supplier contracts.
• Identifying technological trends and translating them into strategic IT initiatives.
• Evaluating and implementing new hardware and software solutions.
• Managing partner relationships, licenses, and authorizations.
• Advising on quality and process improvements within the organization.
• Evaluating and improving IT procedures.
• Ensuring optimal security, reliability, and performance of our systems.
• Raising IT awareness throughout the organization.
• Supporting users and ensuring customer-focused IT services.

Who are you and what do you bring?

• At least 3 to 5 years of recent experience in a comparable IT management role.
• Higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably in IT or business administration.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• Experience with project management, IT security, and infrastructure management.
• You are resilient, meticulous, and pragmatic in your approach.
• You communicate clearly and switch easily between strategic and operational levels.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• You are willing to travel to our various locations in the Netherlands.
