What will you do?

As a Project Manager at Bayards Aluminium Solutions, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering technical customer projects from start to finish. You’ll work on a wide range of projects in sectors such as defense, mobility, architecture, and industry. From the handover by Sales to final delivery, you are the main point of contact and lead the multidisciplinary project team.

You ensure the right balance between quality, planning, safety, and budget. You’ll collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, work preparation, procurement, and production, while also maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. You are analytically strong, communicate clearly, and know how to turn technical challenges into practical solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading projects from initiation to delivery.
• Preparing and monitoring project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Managing project teams and external partners.
• Identifying risks and performing risk management.
• Preparing project reports and financial forecasts.
• Coordinating documentation, certification, and client communication.
• Evaluating projects and sharing lessons learned.

What do you bring?

• A completed HBO degree, preferably in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
• Proven experience in project management within a technical, international environment.
• Knowledge of project planning, risk management, and budget control.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to motivate and effectively lead teams.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
