What will you do?

As a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabrication Employee at Bayards Yacht Structures, you will work on the aluminium superstructure of luxury yachts – from impressive hull sections to refined finishing details. You will join a close knit team of skilled professionals, contributing to projects that earn admiration across the globe. Your main responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
• Preparing constructions and processing aluminium by sawing, drilling, bending, and fitting.
• Assembling and building aluminium structures, including occasional container structures.
• Installing various components and structural parts within the yacht superstructure.
• Performing tack welding and checking dimensional accuracy.
• Contributing ideas for process improvements and promoting safe work practices.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues from the welding, assembly, and production departments.
• You will report to the Foreman and Production Team Leader. In this team, clear communication, precision, and cooperation are the keys to achieving the perfect result.
  

Who are you?

• A vocational (MBO‑level or equivalent) qualification in a technical field such as metalwork, construction, or mechanical engineering.
• Several years of experience in sheet metal or fabrication work; experience with aluminium is an advantage.
• You work neatly, accurately, and with great attention to detail.
• You are independent, flexible, and a strong team player.
• You speak and understand Dutch and/or English.
• You are available full‑time
