We are looking for a Functional Application Administrator to join our IT department. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the management and further development of our business applications. The main focus is on Trimergo, complemented by the management of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online) as an application platform. You will also support the IT team with questions and issues directly related to application usage and user adoption.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you ensure a stable, well‑structured and future‑proof application landscape. You report to the IT Manager and work closely with key users, process owners, workplace support, suppliers and internal departments such as Finance, HR and Operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Handling and coordinating 2nd‑line incidents and service requests, including analysis and escalation to suppliers.
  • Optimising workflows, templates, metadata and authorisations within applications.
  • Managing changes and releases: impact analysis, UAT coordination, planning and aftercare.
  • Managing the backlog and translating improvements into concrete, manageable changes.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, work instructions and key‑user support.
  • Managing and further developing Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online from an application and user perspective.
  • Safeguarding light governance within M365: standards, ownership and lifecycle.
  • Performing application‑related tasks in Entra ID and Intune (access, groups, SSO, app deployment, troubleshooting).
  • Supporting the IT team with application‑related incidents and changes.
  • Contributing to standardisation, documentation and knowledge sharing within the IT team.

Who are you?

You are a structured and communicative professional who enjoys taking ownership of applications and processes. You switch easily between users, suppliers and IT colleagues.

What do you bring?

  • Experience as a functional application administrator or application manager in an environment with incident, change and release management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online) in an administrative context.
  • Practical experience with Entra ID and Intune related to application access and application‑supporting configurations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder and supplier management.
  • A structured and accurate working style with attention to authorisations, documentation and maintainability.

What is a plus?

  • Experience with Trimergo or similar ERP/MIS applications.
  • Experience with integrations or connections with ERP/finance systems (e.g., AFAS/ScanSys).
  • PowerShell “light” for administration and reporting.
