What will you do?

As a Project Manager at Bayards Yacht Structures, you will be responsible for managing complex aluminium construction projects for the superyacht industry from start to finish. From the handover by Sales to final delivery, you lead the project team and ensure planning, quality, safety, and budget are all on track.

You’ll work closely with engineering, work preparation, procurement, and production, while maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and classification societies. You are the link between customer requirements and technical execution, and you know how to turn challenges into practical solutions.

Your responsibilities:

Leading projects from initiation to delivery
Preparing and monitoring project plans, schedules, and budgets
Managing project teams and external partners
Identifying risks and performing risk management
Preparing project reports and financial forecasts
Coordinating documentation, certification, and client communication
Evaluating projects and sharing lessons learned

What do you bring?

A completed HBO degree, preferably in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology)
Proven experience in project management within a technical, international environment
Affinity with yacht building or the maritime sector is a plus
Knowledge of project planning, risk management, and budget control
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Full-time availability
