What will you do?

As a Work Preparator, you are the vital link between engineering, project management, and production. You ensure everything is in place to execute our aluminium projects efficiently and flawlessly. You work intensively with our ERP system and coordinate daily with colleagues across departments. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating production orders with all required details: material types, dimensions, drawings, and outsourcing.
• Determining the sequence of operations and entering it into the ERP system.
• Coordinating with internal departments regarding planning, outsourcing, and material needs.
• Purchasing or initiating the purchase of materials and services, including monitoring delivery times.
• Identifying bottlenecks and proposing alternatives in case of delivery issues.
• Maintaining technical documentation, templates, and article archives.
• Keeping project managers and team leaders informed about progress and planning.

What do you bring?

• A completed MBO-4 (secondary vocational education) degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, metalworking, or a related field.
• Experience in work preparation within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Trimergo).
• Accuracy, a sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to switch quickly between tasks.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Full-time availability.
